We had arranged to meet in the parking lot, just km’s from my house. The sun was about to set, and I would bring my camera so that we would never forget these moments together.
Hopefully, there would be nobody else around. You know how it goes. The setting sun would cast it’s last light across the bay, and there we would be, basking in it’s golden exuberance.
He would undress in the parking lot; I was ready to go. Then, we’d head down to the waters edge together, and from there, that’s where the magic would happen.
The energy between us was exceptional.
After more than an hour of intense, unrestrained action, we started to get cold. The sun had dipped behind the horizon, and that’s when he shyly said to me, giggling, “I’m not used to being in front of the camera, it’s so weird, it made me so stiff…”
Together, now avoiding eye contact, we walked back up to the parking lot.
In retrospect, and without a doubt, I can say that Tao has a love affair with surfing long boards, and it’s just magical.
